Refund & Cancellation Policy

Crown Purchases

A Crown is a paid sponsored advertising placement for a 12-month placement cycle. Before completing a purchase, you should review the market, the Crown position, the price, and the applicable rules.

Bids Are Binding

Bids are binding once submitted and cannot be cancelled or reduced. A participant may increase their bid subject to the Crown & Bidding Rules.

Unsuccessful Bidders

If you do not win the Crown, you are not charged for the Crown purchase. Losing an auction does not create any payment obligation.

Manual Renewal and Cancellation

Manual renewal is a new owner-initiated payment. Choosing not to renew does not cancel or refund the current already-paid Crown term. Your Crown remains active until its current 12-month placement expiration, subject to the other applicable HugeTen rules.

If you do not successfully complete a manual renewal before the 12-month placement expires, the Crown becomes Available at expiration. No refund is owed because no renewal charge was made.

A failed manual renewal payment does not create a renewed term. You may retry the renewal payment while the Crown is still within the valid pre-expiration renewal window. Refund treatment for a successfully completed renewal follows the applicable existing payment and refund rules and statutory rights.

HugeTen may send service notifications or reminders relating to Crown expiration and renewal. Failure to receive a reminder does not extend the Crown term or the renewal window.

Competitive Auction Payments

Competitive auction payments are separate from manual renewal payments. A successful competitive-auction payment by the current owner starts a fresh 12-month placement cycle. This payment is non-refundable, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

Already completed Crown and auction payments remain subject to the existing refund and cancellation rules described in this policy and the Crown & Bidding Rules.

Failed Winner and Fallback

If the highest eligible bidder cannot be successfully charged, is disqualified, or otherwise cannot complete settlement, HugeTen may proceed to the next highest eligible bidder according to the auction ordering. The next eligible bidder may become the winner and become liable for their own winning bid amount. The auction does not automatically restart.

If an authoritative settlement must be reversed or refunded due to system or payment failure, any charge associated with that settlement will be reversed. A bidder who becomes the winner through fallback is charged only their own winning bid amount, not the failed bidder's amount.

Statutory Rights

Any refund or cancellation rights required by applicable law remain unaffected by this policy.
